Hi! I'm Karla (the Alrak in Alrak's Parallel Universe) and I design and create stretchy bracelets of stone/glass/crystal, beaded Edwardian-style necklaces, hand-stamped metal pendants, earrings, and bangle bracelets, and hand-stamped and beaded metal bookmarks. I've recently branched out into doing mixed media art pendants.
I have a high school colors collection, with customizable sports and music charms and beads, featuring stretchy bracelets in the colors of all the Lincoln high schools. Some, like these sparkly green and gold ones below, work for NFL football teams, too:
Lincoln East High School bracelet:
I love creating custom school color bracelets for those who live outside Lincoln! Here is one created for an educator in Columbus, Nebraska:
My latest collection uses Morse Code:
The animal conservation collection seeks to evoke the animals or their surroundings. Profits from these bracelets go to charities that support them. Here is a black, white, and pink stone and crystal bead Humboldt Penguin bracelet - profits from bracelets in the Humboldt Penguin collection are split between the Center for Conservation in Punta San Juan, Peru and the Lincoln Children's Zoo:
In addition to the stretchy bracelets I create hand-stamped aluminum bookmarks. These can be made in different widths and come with or without tassels and beads.
